• ABOUT THE THANK-YOU PACKAGES: Wetpaint will offset the approximate annual emissions of the average U.S. home (25,210 lbs. of CO2), the average U.S. vehicle (8,403 lbs. of CO2), and 50,419 lbs.of CO2 of emissions of the organization of choice of the millionth site creator and referrer, if eligible, for a total value of $500 per package. • AWARDING A THANK-YOU-PACKAGE TO A REFERRER: To qualify as the referrer of the one-millionth Wetpaint site, you must link to the Wetpaint homepage: (http://www.wetpaint.com). Wetpaint will do its best to track the millionth site back to your referral link or message. If the referring site or email can't be tracked, Wetpaint won't be able to reward the referral.
  
  
• ELIGIBILITY & INVALID ENTRIES: The millionth site creator and referrer must be unique individuals — meaning one user is not eligible to receive both thank-you packages. If Wetpaint determines that the one-millionth site was created by a bot or as part of a batch creation of sites, it will not qualify for the thank-you package.
  
  
• NOTIFICATION OF THANK-YOU-PACKAGE RECIPIENT: If Wetpaint cannot contact the creator or referrer of the millionth site within three days after the millionth site is created, Wetpaint will give the thank-you package to the 1,000,001st site, and so on, until a user responds. Note: Wetpaint will attempt to contact the creator of the millionth site by email or via notification through the site's private messaging service — make sure that you secure your Wetpaint member account with a valid email address you check frequently and also set your email notification preferences in your Wetpaint member profile to receive an email alert when someone sends you a message through the site.
